Mr. Jehangir Shah

Deputy Managing Director

Mr. Jehangir Shah has over forty years experience in commercial banking, private & personal banking and leasing. He has had overseas work experience in UAE, Egypt and Brazil, and is currently Deputy Managing Director, Pak Oman Investment Company Limited, a joint venture between the Government of Pakistan and Sultanate of Oman since 2008. Previously he has served as Country Manager-Pakistan of Oman International Bank SAOG and as Managing Director and CEO of Capital Assets Leasing Corporation Limited (Calcorp). His former employments include those at Habib Credit and Exchange Bank and Bank of Credit and Commerce International.

Mr. Shah was a Sponsor Director of Pak Gulf Leasing Company Limited, a listed Company on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, incorporated in 1996.

Mr. Shah is also on the Board of the following Companies:
  • Pak Oman Asset Management Company: Nominee Director and Member, Board HR, Audit and Investment Committees.
  • International Industries Limited: Independent Director and Chairman, Board Audit Committee.
  • Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited: Independent Director and Member, Board Audit and Investment Committees.
  • Shaheen Insurance Company Limited: Independent Director.

Mr. Mohammad Jamal Nasir

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mohammad Jamal Nasir has 23 years working experience in the fields of Finance, Accounts, Audit, Tax and Budgeting. Prior to joining Pak Oman, Mr. Nasir worked in NDLC-IFIC Bank Limited. His assignments included the mapping of different accounting systems, taxation-planning for diverse organizational structures and budgeting. He has hands-on experience in the implementation of new accounting systems and data migration, and has successfully completed reviews of credit portfolios and identified weaknesses in accordance with the applicable regulatory laws. Mr. Nasir is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Mr. Zalmai Rahmanuddin Khan

Head Corporate Banking

Mr. Zalmai Rahmanuddin Khan has over 25 years of diverse experience in the fields of Corporate, Islamic Banking, Cash Management and Risk Management. Prior to joining Pak Oman, Mr. Khan has worked for MCB Bank Limited and Faysal Bank Limited in various capacities. He has also worked in the UK as a business development consultant for a multinational company. Mr. Khan held the position of Chief Risk Officer for Pak Oman before taking over the mantle of Corporate Banking.
Mr. Khan holds a MBA degree from the University of Exeter, UK. He also holds a diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance.

Syed Mohammad Shoaib Omair

Group Head Human Resources & Administration

Syed Mohammad Shoaib Omair has 25+ years of Human Resource Management experience in the manufacturing and financial sectors. Prior to joining Pak Oman, Mr. Omair worked with JS Bank Limited; as its Head of Human Resources. His former employment includes those of Head Recruitment at Habib Bank Limited and Head Human Resources at Credit Agricole Indosuez Group. He began his career in Human Resources at Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company Limited as Trainee Officer.

Mr. Omair holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Karachi University and has done his Masters in Business Administration from Adamson University, Philippines. He also holds diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counseling from CPPD (UK) Ltd..

He has attended numerous workshops and seminars related to Human Resource management and Leadership.

Syed Abdullah Jamal Ahmed Naqvi

Head of Compliance

Mr. Jamal is MBA (Finance) from University of Karachi and an Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan and Pakistan Institute of Public & Finance Accountants. He has over 12 years of Professional experience. Mr. Jamal was serving as Head of Compliance in Pak Oman Investment Company Limited prior to this assignment for over 04 years and has also served in Corporate Banking - Audit Group at Habib Bank Limited and as Manager in Riaz Ahmad, Saqib, Gohar & Co. (Chartered Accountants).

Ms. Haajra Jafri

Company Secretary

Ms. Haajra Jafri is an MBA in Finance. She has over 12 years of experience in the Corporate Secretariat. She started her career from Pak Oman Investment Company Limited and served in the Corporate Affairs Department for around 10 years. she also worked with Askari Life Assurance Company Limited as Company Secretary.

Mr. Sajjad Arif

Head of Internal Audit

Mr. Sajjad is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has been carrying out various professional engagements relating to Compliance, Internal Audit, Business restructuring & Financial Control successfully in his professional career spanning over 15 years. During his affiliation with various Banking & Non-Banking organizations; his work included development of Compliance Manuals, Internal Audit framework & checklists, Tax planning & management, financial & management audits, trainings relating to compliance & corporate governance and similar other professional financial & controls related engagements.

Sajjad’s international exposure includes development of Corporate & Compliance frameworks & execution of various audit & assurance assignments in USA, UAE, Bahrain, Singapore, Oman & Qatar.

Mr. Rehan Ghayur

Head of Information Technology

Rehan Ghayur has over 20 years of diversified experience of establishing and managing versatile technology platforms for well-reputed financial institutions both in Pakistan and overseas.
Prior to joining Pak Oman, Mr. Rehan has worked with Bank Alfalah and United Bank Limited. He also worked with financial institute in Sydney Australia.
Mr. Rehan completed Bachelor degree in Business from Queensland University of Technology, Australia and Masters in Information Technology from Griffith University, Australia.

Mr. Waqas Mahmood

Head of Risk Management

Mr. Waqas Mahmood has over 14 years of professional banking experience in in the areas of Risk Management, Corporate, Investment and Islamic Banking. Prior to joining Pak Oman, Mr. Waqas has worked with The Bank of Punjab, Habib Bank Limited and MCB Bank Ltd under various positions in Risk Management.

Mr. Waqas holds a M.Com degree from the University of Punjab. 

Mr.Tasadduq Aslam

Head of Treasury

Mr. Tasadduq Aslam has been with Pak Oman Investment Company Limited since 2002 and has over 22 years of experience in the field of treasury. Prior to joining POIC, he has worked in treasury areas with different financial institutions. His pragmatic approach and drive to excel coupled with a strong commitment to prudent treasury management has transformed POIC treasury into an active and effective team in the banking industry. Further he has attended numerous Treasury management and Leadership trainings.

Mr. Aslam holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Karachi.
