Treasury at Pak Oman plays a pivotal role in Deposit Mobilization, Fixed Income & Money Market Activities, Corporate Sales, Investment Advisory Services and Distribution. It is an active player of Government and Corporate Bonds in the Secondary Market. Treasury of Pak Oman has the distinction of being the only primary dealer for a Developmental Financial Institution for the sixth consecutive year. It was the second best performing primary dealer for the year 2007.It is also the first DFI to establish a dedicated corporate desk that caters specifically to the needs of its existing base of over 200 corporations, pension, provident, gratuity funds, and others. Going forward, emphasis will now be on development of value added products for customers including derivatives.
