Friends of Life recently held a Fundraiser
in aid of the Dar-ul-Sukun organization, a Home for
Mentally Challenged Children. Located in Karachi, it
is run almost exclusively on private donations and charity,
with over 150 children in residence. Pak Oman undertook
the Fundraiser in order to assist with the furnishing
of Dar ul Sukun’s new wing. MD Mr. Zafar Iqbal
and members of the Friends of Life Committee were on
hand to present Sister Ruth, Administrator of Dar ul
Sukun with a cheque for Rs. 1 million. Pak Oman’s
association with the Dar ul Sukun organization is of
long standing duration and has over the years, resulted
in various projects that hold great importance for us.
We hope to continue our association with Dar ul Sukun
in the future.
